♡ EARLY LIFE ♡

Marina Lambrini Diamandis was born October 10, 1985 in Abergavenny, Wales, but she grew up in Pandy, Wales with her two younger sisters. Her father was Greek origin and her mother was Welsh origin. Marina went to St. Catherine's Embassy School and Haberdashers' Monmouth School. When Marina was sixteen years old and her parents divorced, she decided to move to Greece with her father, but after two years Marina moved back to Wales. When she dropped out of high school she moved straight to London and attended to a dance school, but she quit shortly after two months. After that, in 2005 Marina took a one year singing course at Vocaltech (West London Music School). She tried to audition for many musicals, including The Lion King, but she didn't success. Marina also tried to audition for a reggae boy band, she dressed up as a boy and acted like a boy, but they didn't want her to audition. After dropping out of four different universities, including the Middlesex University, she started making music on her own way. Since Marina was 15 years old she knew that she wanted to make music, it was her vocation, even though she wasn't very musical before that.
